Cube Steaks With Gravy (Stove Top)

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds cube steaks

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 packet of brown gravy

  • 2 Cups Beef Broth

  • 3 T canola oil or vegetable oil

  • 1 T onion powder

  • 1 T garlic powder

  • 1 tsp each salt, pepper

  • All-purpose Flour (for dredging)


Directions:

  1. In a small baggie, mix together the seasonings.

  2. Season both sides of the cube steaks with the seasoning mixture.

  3. Dredge in Flour.

  4. In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

  5. Brown the steaks on both sides.

  6. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, packet of brown gravy and beef broth.

  7. Pour over the steaks and simmer on low for about 10-15 minutes.

  8. Serve over rice, potatoes or noodles.
