It's the end of Summer, now What?

Blog #300

It’s the end of summer, now what?

Did you reach the goals you set for yourself this summer? Did you buy that itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, yellow, polka dot bikini? (Just kidding) No new bathing suit necessary!

Yes?! Congratulations – you stuck to your plan, you changed your eating habits, you added exercise? And you stay focused to reach your health happiness goals! Good for you! Don’t you feel better now? Awesome you!

No?! No worries! It’s not over till it’s over! Summer may be ending, but the year hasn’t ended yet! You can still reach those goals you set for yourself by the end of the year! You just need to re-focus, set new goals, take one day at a time, and don’t give up!

I always start my goals with 10-pound increments with no time limit to achieve them. I try to reach what I want to reach by the end of the year. Having goals to reach a summer body is just not feasible for most people who have a lot of weight to lose, but you never know! It can be done, but if not, don’t give up on yourself!

I will never be in an itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, yellow, polka dot bikini again and I really don’t care to be. As long as the goals I set for myself are realistic, and I am a heathier person for them, then I am good with them!

Using 10-pound increments as my goals and creating good, healthy incentives when I reach each one is what I set for myself this year!

What healthy incentives have you set for yourself when you reach each one of your milestone goals?

Be creative and have fun with them! Make a list for each 10-pound weight loss you achieve. Check them off one at a time – and look forward to each and every one!

You can do this, you always could! Summer has ended, but your goals have not!

Start with a list here:

… Wow 50 pounds off already! Awesome!

… Wow 100 pounds off already! Super Awesome!

Now create an incentive list to maintain and keep those pounds off! You got this!
