Spread Some Joy!

It’s that time of year again! Christmas is almost here! A time to share the Joy of this holiday we celebrate every year!

What does Joy mean to you?

For me, this word has several meanings! The Joy of good spirits, the Joy of accomplishing so much this year, (not because I had to, but because I wanted to), and the Joy of finding my “Health Happiness”. The Joy of finding happiness in just the smallest of things and the Joy of what Christmas means to me and so many people this year.

“2020” has been a very tough year for so many of us this year. It will be hard for so many to find even the smallest amount of Joy this season. And for others it is, will be, a welcome relief to the end of one of the worst years ever to so many people.

We are all in this together. We all shared the same year together in this pandemic. Some of us have suffered loss and sickness and some of us have suffered through tough financial times.

Some may not even feel like celebrating the holiday this year. What we tend to forget, is that the feeling of Joy and Christmas needs to be felt all year, not just one holiday, not just one season, but all four seasons!

Try to find just one little thing this year that brought you Joy and remember the feeling it brought to you will help you to remember what it feels like.

The Joy of being together. Being home for long periods of time together. Remembering the simple things in life we used to take for granted. Being outdoors in the fresh air, getting exercise. Reading a good book, playing board games, and eating home-cooked meals together again.

That’s what JOY means to me! Through all of the hard times we went through and felt this year, it has made us all stronger, more aware, and more determined to live a simple life again. To celebrate and enjoy all of what life has to offer us in small and big ways!

To be joined together again to celebrate the JOY of what living LIFE really means!

To celebrate the Joy in this holiday and so many more to come. The Joy of just taking one day at a time and appreciate every day for what it is. Another day to live and another day to be alive.
