Corn on the Cob Chowda

What to do with leftover corn on the cob? – why make Corn Chowder that’s what! Here is a great “shortcut version”!


Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Bear Creek Country Kitchens Cheddar Broccoli Soup Mix (11.2 oz bag)

  • 8 cups water

  • 1 Cup Sour Cream

  • 2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 large potatoes cut into chunks

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 4 cups whole kernel corn (From leftover Corn on the cob – The Best!)

  • 2 T fresh garlic

  • Salt, pepper

Directions:

  1. Add the Soup packet to the crockpot, add water and mix together.

  2. Add the potato, onion, corn, garlic, salt and pepper.

  3. Set crockpot on low for 6 hours.

  4. During the last hour mix in the sour cream and cheddar cheese.

  5. Serve and Enjoy!
