Summer Salad Smoothie




Make your Summer Salad into a Smoothie with this refreshingly light recipe! No salad bowl or prep work here - just salad greens and frozen fruit make up this great salad alternative meal!





Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spring salad greens, or to taste

  • 1 cup frozen red grapes

  • 1 chopped frozen banana

  • 1 cored and chopped frozen apricot

  • 1 cored and chopped frozen pear

  • 2 tablespoons walnuts

  • Water as needed

Directions:

  1. Layer salad greens, red grapes, banana, apricot, pear, and walnuts in a high-powered blender or food processor; add enough water to cover.

  2. Blend mixture until smooth, adding water to reach desired consistency.

  3. Serve and Enjoy!
