Turkey Meatballs


  • 1 lb. ground turkey

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 large shallot, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes

  • 1/4 Cup all purpose non-bleached white flour

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Basil

  • 1 T Organic ketchup

  • salt, pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. (spray foil to prevent sticking)

  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, shallot, garlic, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, flour, basil, ketchup, salt and pepper.

  4. Roll the mixture into 1 1/2 inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

  6. Remove and add to your favorite pasta sauce and serve over your favorite pasta or lower calorie/ carb version - serve over spiralized zucchini! Yum!
