Vanilla Extract - Home-Made


  • 10 vanilla beans (4-6 inches in length)

  • 13 oz. Vodka

  • Mason jar or other lidded container


  1. Add the vodka to your jar.

  2. Slice down the middle of each vanilla bean (not all the way thru).

  3. Cut them to fit in your container so that they are fully submerged.

  4. Cover and let sit for 8 weeks. Shake up once a week.

It doesn’t get any easier than 1,2,3! Yum!
