Banana Chocolate Chip Cake


Ingredients:

· 3 cups all-purpose flour

· 1 cup white sugar

· 3 teaspoons baking soda

· 1/2 teaspoon salt

· 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 2 to 3 large)

· 2 tsp vanilla

· 2 eggs

· 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

· 1/2 cup milk

· 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan, or a tube pan.

  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine bananas, vanilla, eggs, melted butter and milk.

  4. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture until blended. Be careful not to over mix.

  5. Stir in chocolate chips.

  6. Pour batter into the pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

  7. Sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar, keep it plain, or frost with a chocolate buttercream frosting!
