Cabbage Roll-Ups

Ingredients:

1 head of Green Cabbage 1 lb. Hamburger 1 lb. Ground Pork (Or 2 lbs. meatloaf mixture) 1/3 Cup chopped parsley Salt, pepper 1 Egg ½ Cup Jasmine Rice 1 small onion, diced 2 large Garlic cloves, minced

Sauce Ingredients: 28 oz. Can Crushed Tomatoes 1 tsp cinnamon 2 T brown sugar 2 T balsamic vinegar 1 C water


Directions:

  1. Peel and boil the cabbage for 5 minutes. Rinse with cool water and drain.

  2. Remove the stems before rolling.

  3. Mix all ingredients together. Spoon onto Cabbage pieces and roll.

  4. Pour ¼ of sauce on bottom of pan. Add rolled cabbage and pour remaining sauce on top.

  5. Bake in a 350-degree oven. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
