Dream BIG and make it HAPPEN!

Like any dreams and goals in life, Weight Loss is a huge one! Whether we dream about being thinner and making goals to achieve a healthier version of ourselves, or we just keep dreaming and thinking about losing weight and not doing anything about it. It all comes down to the same thing.

We need to stop dreaming about weight loss and start thinking about how we are going to make it happen!

Dream big or go home, right? Not necessarily. Reality comes in to play at different stages and ages in our lives, that may help or hinder our progress goals!

Are you stuck in a time warp and just feel like you can’t move forward with your weight loss?

Join the club! I have felt stagnant on my own journey of health happiness so many times, I have lost count!

I mean it really is! Maybe we just need to take a new view on what we are doing to actually achieve our dreams!

Just because your weight loss has stalled, don’t revert to your old bad habits!

If you are stuck in a time warp and afraid you can’t get out of it, here are some great tips to give you a much-needed push forward to help you get out of that plateau:

· Don't get discouraged. It's normal for weight loss to slow down and even put on the brakes. By understanding what causes a weight-loss plateau, you can decide how to respond and avoid going backwards on your new healthy habits.

  • Speaking of - Take another look at your habits. Look back at your food and activity logs (Are you not keeping a log or journal?) Start making one now. This is so important when you are on the start of your new weight loss health happiness journey! Make sure you haven't loosened the rules, letting yourself get by with larger portions or less exercise.

  • Cut more calories. Further cut your daily calories, provided this doesn't put you below 1,200 calories. Fewer than 1,200 calories a day may not be enough to keep you from constant hunger, which increases your risk of overeating. And we don’t want that now do we?

  • Boost up your workouts. Most people should exercise 30 minutes a day, at least 3 to 4 times a week. If you are not making any progress, then try to exercise more often than that or increase the intensity of exercise to burn more calories. Adding different kinds of exercise to your routines will help you burn more calories.

  • Pack more activity into your day. Think outside the gym. Increase your general physical activity throughout the day by walking more. Take up jogging, go swimming. Do some major Fall cleaning. Stuck at a desk all day? Try to get up and move around several times during the day. Any added physical activity will help you burn more calories.

  • Look for new motivation and inspiration. Join a Facebook group, read a great blog (*hint, hint), meet up with your friends more often for that walk or jog. Grab a great weight loss book or magazine!

  • Try cooking new healthy recipes. Try out that new healthy recipe you have been wanting to try. Re-stock your cabinets and refrigerator with new healthy choices!

Whatever you need to do to make your big dream happen, just go out and do it!

Then You can finally sit back and say:
