Monte Cristo Breakfast Sandwich

2 Slices Bread (any kind) 3 eggs, whisked
1 T butter
4 slices ham or 2 breakfast sausage patties or 4 slices cooked bacon
2 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite)
Maple syrup (for dipping) optional
Add the butter to a frying pan. Once melted, add the three whisked eggs.
Take the two slices of bread and dip one side on top of the egg mixture, then dip the other side (make sure to leave egg mixture underneath after) and fry until the egg is cooked. (egg will be out the sides as well) about 2-3 minutes.
Flip over the bread and eggs in one large piece. Fold the sides of the egg over the bread.
Top each piece with a slice of cheese and either the ham, sausage or bacon.
Flip one side over top of the other (like a sandwich).
Continue cooking until both sides are slightly browned and the cheese has melted.
Slice in half and serve with a side of maple syrup to dip the sandwich in. (if desired)
