French Toast Bake

(Make the day before)
Ingredients:
- 2 tsp cinnamon (or to taste) 
- 1 stick melted butter 
- 1 Cup brown sugar 
- 1 loaf Thick Bread (French Toast Bread) 
- 6 eggs 
- 2 C milk 
- 1 tsp vanilla 
Directions:
- Melt the butter in a microwaveable bowl. Add the brown sugar and mix together. Spread into the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan. 
- Beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Lay single slices of bread in the bottom of the pan. Pour ½ of the egg mixture over the bread. 
- Add a 2nd layer of bread, and pour the remaining egg mixture over the top. 
- Cover and chill overnight. 
- The next morning bake at 350 degrees for approx. 45 minutes. Cover for the first 30 minutes. Serve with home-made maple syrup! Yummy!
