
(Make the day before)
Ingredients:
2 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)
1 stick melted butter
1 Cup brown sugar
1 loaf Thick Bread (French Toast Bread)
6 eggs
2 C milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Melt the butter in a microwaveable bowl. Add the brown sugar and mix together. Spread into the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan.
Beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Lay single slices of bread in the bottom of the pan. Pour ½ of the egg mixture over the bread.
Add a 2nd layer of bread, and pour the remaining egg mixture over the top.
Cover and chill overnight.
The next morning bake at 350 degrees for approx. 45 minutes. Cover for the first 30 minutes. Serve with home-made maple syrup! Yummy!
