  1. Brain hack #1 Eat an apple before shopping. This will fill you up and satisfy any cravings you may want in the store, if you aren't hungry while shopping.

  2. Brain hack #2 Think of yourself as a 'healthy eater'. If you think healthy eating, you will plan for healthy eating when you prepare your grocery shopping list.

  3. Brain hack #3 Photograph your meal. This is a great way to keep a food diary, share and keep pictures of your meals to remind you of what you ate. Logging into a great weight loss app helps to track what you eat and count your calories for you as well.

  4. Brain hack #4 Snack on something healthy between meals if you are hungry.

  5. Brain hack #5 Eat with your 'other' hand. This helps your brain to really focus and concentrate on what you are eating. It makes it a bit more difficult to eat with your non-dominate hand, so you have to focus on more of what you are putting in your mouth. It really works!

  9. Brain hack #9 Choose healthy food first. Always, always reach for the better healthy alternative first. Eat first and fill up on the good stuff.

  10. Brain hack #10 Cut up your food first into smaller bite-sized pieces, before eating. If at a birthday party for instance, choose a smaller piece of cake.
