Strawberry Pie Bars


  • 1 Cup butter, melted

  • 1 ¼ Cups granulated sugar, (¼ cup reserved)

  • ½ Cup light brown sugar, packed

  • 3 ½ Cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 (16 oz.) containers fresh Strawberries


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Slice the strawberries and mix in ¼ cup sugar. Set Aside.

  3. Line a 9” square baking pan with parchment paper.

  4. Whisk butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar together until well mixed.

  5. Add flour and stir to combine until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture to use as a topping.

  6. Press the remainder of the crumbled mixture into the parchment paper lined pan and press firmly to pack it down.

  7. Add the strawberries evenly over the crust.

  8. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of the crumbled mixture over the strawberries.

  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let cool for 1-2 hours before serving.

*note* Try with fresh Blueberries or mixed berries too!
