
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground turkey
1 jar marinara sauce (your favorite)
2 cans diced tomatoes
3 cloves garlic minced
Oregano, fresh 1 bunch, or 1 T dried
Basil, fresh 1 bunch, chopped or 1 T dried
Salt, pepper
1 lb. angel hair, or whole wheat pasta
Directions:
Cook pasta according to directions. (reserve 1 cup pasta water). While the pasta is cooking, sauté the ground turkey in a large frying pan with the salt, pepper and garlic, until ½ way cooked through.
Add the sauce, diced tomatoes, oregano and basil to the pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add the angel hair, or whole wheat pasta with the reserved 1 cup of pasta water and mix together. Serve topped with fresh basil and parmesan cheese if desired.
