Thankful, Grateful, Blessed!

Thankful, Grateful, Blessed!

It’s Thanksgiving Week, and what better way to express my thankfulness, gratefulness and Blessings with family and friends than in the written word.

This has definitely been a challenging year so far! Maintaining my health happiness for myself got bumped up quite a few notches not only for myself, but for my husband who was recently diagnosed with Cancer.

Just when you think you have everything under control in your own life, your journey is going fantastic, and you are content and satisfied with the way your journey is taking you; stupid cancer walks into the picture.

Feeling Thankful, Grateful and Blessed are the last things on your mind right now. Your Strength and positive attitude are called in full force now, because you have been called upon to face your worse fears.

Time for healing begins now. I needed more than anything to feel Thankful, Grateful and Blessed. Those feelings came in full force with one look at my thankful, grateful and blessed husband. His positive attitude and energy towards a lifetime of healing, not only inspired me to continue on my own health happiness journey but inspired me to help him achieve his own health happiness journey towards healing.

Healing comes in all sorts of ways. Mentally, physically and spiritually. He chose to be healed in all three ways. May we all choose to be healed in our own lives this way.

I am now grateful for the way he has put his own life journey into perspective, and for the way he has made me realize what is truly important to live a full, happy, fulfilled and content life. Grateful to love and be loved. Grateful to choose kindness and empathy over judgement. Grateful to choose laughter instead of tears. Grateful to choose forgiveness and to forgive. Grateful to choose positivity over negativity. Grateful to see the best in everyone who has come into our lives.

We have so many Blessings to be grateful for, if we just open our eyes, minds and hearts. To live each day as if it was our last. Thanksgiving brings out the best in everyone. The best in everyone should be brought out every day, not just one day a year.

When life and death stares you in the face, I hope you choose to fight for your life with every breath you take. To choose to be thankful, grateful and blessed every single day.

Don’t take anything in your life for granted. You only get one life to live, so go LIVE!
