Ingredients:
1 Stick Butter
1 Cup plus 2 Tablespoons Creamy Peanut Butter, divided
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Line the bottom of a 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. (Enough to go up the sides of the pan as well)
Place the stick of butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high until melted. 45-60 seconds. Add 1 cup of the peanut butter and stir to combine. Add the powdered sugar and stir until well combined.
In another microwave-safe bowl, add the 2 cups of the chocolate chips, and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter. Melt on high, stirring halfway through, until the chips are softened enough to melt. Approx. 1 -2 minutes.
Spread 1/2 of the melted chips onto the bottom of the pan.
Let sit a couple minutes and then spread the Peanut Butter mixture over the chocolate layer.
Spread the remaining melted chocolate chips over the top of the peanut butter layer, spreading evenly over the top.
Refrigerate until firm, approximately 2 hours. Remove the bars from the pan grabbing the parchment paper and cut into bars.
Keep refrigerated.
