Cocoa Walnut Balls

1 Cup finely ground walnuts (or almonds)
¼ Cup pure cacao powder
3 T pure maple syrup (or raw honey)
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
Mix all the ingredients into a bowl.
Roll the mixture into ½-inch size balls.
Keep in the freezer for long-term storage. (They will still be soft)
Tip: This recipe can also be used to make into squares for brownies, or as a base for a dessert pie!
