Crock Pot Oatmeal & Fruit


Ingredients:


· 1 Cup Quick cook steel cut oats

· 3 ½ Cups water

· 1 cup peeled and chopped Apple

· ½ Cup dried cranberries

· ½ Cup chopped pecans or walnuts

· 2 medium bananas, sliced

· 2 Tablespoons Butter

· 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

· 2 Tablespoons brown sugar

· 1 tsp vanilla extract

· ¼ Cup toasted coconut flakes (optional)

· Fresh blueberries (optional)


Directions:

  1. Place the steel cut oats, water, apple, cranberries, pecans or walnuts, bananas, butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract into a slow cooker, and stir to combine.

  2. Cover the cooker, set to Low, and allow to cook 2 – 2 ½ hours.

  3. Top with fresh blueberries and toasted coconut flakes if desired.
