Crock Pot Overnight Maple Oatmeal
2 Cups Milk
¼ Cup Pure Maple Syrup
1 T butter, melted
1 Cup Regular or Steel Cut Oats (I use steel cut)
1 Cup Apple, peeled and chopped
½ Cup Raisins
½ Cup Walnuts or Pecans, chopped
½ tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Before heading to bed, combine all the ingredients into the crockpot and mix well.
Cover and set on low and cook 8 – 9 hours.
Stir, serve and enjoy the next morning!
Hint: You can also try: Honey instead of syrup, peel and slice bananas, peaches or pears, or add dried plums or apricots as well. Be creative!
