Turkey Burgers



Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Ground Turkey

  • 1 1/2 Cups Seasoned Panko Bread Crumbs

  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese

  • 2 Crushed garlic cloves

  • 1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce

  • 2 large Eggs

  • 1 Small chopped onion

  • 2 tsp. Basil (fresh - chopped or spice)

  • 1 tsp. rosemary

  • salt, pepper

  • 4 -5 T Chicken broth

  • 1 small chopped jalapeno pepper

  • 1 Cup shredded Cheddar Cheese


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Combine all ingredients except for the cheddar cheese in a large bowl. Mix well.

  3. Add more chicken broth if it is too dry, or more bread crumbs if it is too wet.

  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Make into 1/2 inch patties (I made 7 of them). (I also used a hamburger maker)

  6. Place on a sprayed foil lined baking sheet. (Spray well!)

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes. (No need to flip over)

  8. Serve plain with a side, or place on a hamburger bun. You decide!
