WaterGate Pistachio Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant pistachio pudding mix

  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, with juice

  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or your favorite

  • 1 (8 ounce container) frozen whipped topping, thawed


Directions:

  1. Combine crushed pineapple with juice, instant pudding mix, mini marshmallows, and walnuts in a large serving bowl. Mix until well combined.

  2. Fold in whipped topping, then chill for 2-3 hours before serving.

  3. When ready to serve, garnish with additional nuts of your choice and top with maraschino cherries if desired.

    Hint - to make a "lite" version - use lite whipped topping, lite cream cheese, and sugar-free jello!
