Change is coming, are you Ready?

Another year has gone by and another year is just starting! Are you ready to make changes to your health happiness well-being yet? If the answer is “NO”, then why the heck not? What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for another year to pass by and another whole year of not feeling good? Don’t do this to yourself again! This is the year that you tell yourself, “YES”, I am going to make changes! This is the year it is all gonna happen for me! I am strong, I am independent, I am resilient, I can do this! Heck “YES” it’s happening!

New Year’s Resolutions are a thing of the past! No more lists! No more talking, no more thinking about it! Time to take action and just do it! Start on your journey on the right health happiness path today! You have been putting off this journey for way too long, years even. Don’t waste another year, another week, another day or another minute! Start right now! Get your game plan going. Need some tips on how to start? I thought you would never ask! Here are some tips to get started that have helped me over the years, and I hope they will give you a boost too!

First and foremost: Write down 11 reasons why you want to eat and feel healthier!

Second foremost: Create your action plan to achieve your 11 reasons.

What foods are the healthiest for me to eat on a daily basis? What are your favorite foods? How can I make them into healthier versions? Try new foods. Find alternatives to the way you cook. Are you frying? Try roasting instead. Start a daily journal and write down everything you eat. Count your calories and keep track of your daily intake of protein, fats and carbs.

Third foremost: Start an exercise plan. Get your body moving! Whether it is going up and down stairs, walking down the road to get the mail, using an exercise bike, swimming, jogging or walking around the block with a friend. You will feel so much better when your body moves! And hello, exercise is a great stress reliever!

Try these three steps and you are on your way to a healthier you. At the end of this year, you can finally say I made the change, it came, and it stuck! Good-bye Old year 2018 and Hello New year 2019!
