Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 tsp. Salt 2/3 cup milk 2 Tablespoons sugar 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Stir in the milk and oil into the mixture until just moistened. Gently knead until the dough comes together.
3. Turn dough onto a flat surface and roll to a 3/4-inch thick rectangle. Cut dough in half lengthwise and then cut into circles. Place on the baking sheet.
4. Bake until golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 6 biscuits. *Note (I doubled the recipe to make 12 biscuits)
