Frosted Flakes Chicken Nuggets

2 lbs. Chicken Tenders
2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Flavored Panko Bread Crumbs
1 Cup Frosted Flakes Cereal, crushed
1 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
1 tsp garlic powder (or to taste)
Salt, pepper (to season)
Vegetable Oil for frying
Cut the chicken tenders into bite-size pieces.
Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Combine the flour with the red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt & pepper.
Mix the flavored panko bread crumbs with the crushed frosted flakes cereal.
Place the seasoned flour, eggs (mixed up), and panko bread crumb mixture into three separate medium-sized bowls.
First dip the chicken tender pieces into the flour, then the egg and finally into the panko bread crumb mixture. Continue with this process until all the chicken pieces are coated. Place on a plate – ready for frying.
Heat the oil until hot enough (med-high heat) to fry. (use a drop of water or place a toothpick into the oil, if it bubbles then your oil is ready)
Fry the chicken pieces a few at a time until they are golden brown on each side. Approx. 2-3 mins per side depending on the thickness of your nuggets.
Place on a paper-towel lined platter and let drain.
Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauces.
