It’s time to listen to your inner voice!
Hello? Is anybody listening?
That little voice you hear inside your head is trying to tell you something! It is time to listen!
Are you having doubts about your health happiness plan you are trying to follow?
Is your plan not working?
Do you keep ignoring what your head is telling you?
We have all - at some point in our lives, continually ignored what is right in front of us. That little voice that keeps telling us something is wrong, is way too often not being heard.
Why do we keep trying the same things over and over and over again, trying to experience different results? Why do we torture ourselves time and time again when we know what we are doing is simply not working?
I think in these times, we have just gotten too lazy. We constantly ignore all the signals given to us when something is wrong. We have become too complacent in our lives and too comfortable, that we are not willing to try anything new.
Anything that we have to put an effort into can become too much at times, and we just want to give up. Unfortunately, this happens all too often when we are trying to find the easiest way possible to lose weight and find our health happiness.
Quick fixes have become the norm in our society, and we want everything to happen quickly! Working for something we really want takes time, and we always think that we do not have enough time to do anything, right?
Well, anything worth having – our health happiness for one – “WILL TAKE TIME.” We will have to try new things, new plans, new ideas if we want success to last us for a lifetime!
What you may have tried in the past doesn’t work, but that does not mean you have to give up. Your past mistakes do not define you. Your future is what you choose to become, and it is worth every new try you can muster up to achieve success!
When was the last time you tried anything new in your life? It can be as simple as changing one old habit!
Time for change!
Think about what you want to achieve. What do you want to accomplish? Do you want to lose 10 pounds? 100 pounds?
Do you want to see your blood sugar numbers go down? Your cholesterol levels go down?
Do you want to be able to walk a mile? 2 miles? To your mailbox and back without gasping for air?
Do you want to be able to join a gym? Exercise class? Weight loss class?
What is holding you back? We all have a choice to just sit back and watch our lives go by without any change for the better, or we can decide today, right now to make changes and live the life we have always wanted to live.
Be the change you want to be! Be somebody nobody thought you could be.
Focus and put everything into perspective. You have to unlearn what you have already learned if you want to make any changes.
Make a list and check it twice. On one side write down what has worked for you, and on the other side write down what hasn’t worked for you.
This way you won’t keep making the same mistakes over and over again. You will already know what has and has not worked for you – so you can move on and try new things.
Start making a new list of what you can do differently.
Here are ten quick ideas:
1. Start a new exercise routine – try new exercises.
2. Try fasting from 7PM at night until 7-9 AM the next day.
3. Do not skip breakfast.
4. Eat regular meals. No snacking.
5. Eat more fruits and vegetables.
6. Get more active. Get off that couch!
7. Drink more water.
8. Eat high fiber foods.
9. Read your food labels. (You may be taking in more calories than you think!)
10. Use a smaller plate.
Any new idea is worth a try! What have you got to lose – except weight of course!
