Oh no! The Holidays are coming! The Holidays are coming!
We all look forward to the winter holidays, but we don’t look forward to the weight gains we receive from them!
The good news is – we don’t have to worry about the weight gains, if we pay attention to our meal planning and our meal eating this year!
Past holidays seasons of gorging are way past us this year! We have learned that we do not need to be under a mountain load of stress this time of year, just thinking and planning our meals over the holidays!
We can have a happy Thanksgiving without adding extra pounds to our bodies if we simply prepare healthy alternatives! We can still have our traditional goodies for families and friends. But for ourselves we should plan on some alternatives that are just as tasty without all the added calories!
We can also decide to have those traditional goodies, just in smaller portions and in moderation to keep us on track! Don’t want to make alternative meals for yourself? No worries – plan ahead and have a cheat day – but don’t go overboard or you will pay for it the next day!
Either way you serve up the holidays in your house – planning is the key! Plan for great alternatives, eat in moderation and watch your portion control – or give yourself a cheat day – your preference, your body!
