self-con·fi·dence

noun: self-confidence

  1. a feeling of trust in one's abilities, qualities, and judgment.Confidence is a state of being clear-headed. Confidence comes from a Latin word 'fidere' which means "to trust"; therefore, having self-confidence is having trust in one's self.

Tips for building self-confidence:

  1. Look at what you've already achieved. It's easy to lose confidence if you believe you haven't achieved anything.

  2. Think of things you are good at. Everyone has strengths and talents. Realize what yours are and act on them every day.

  3. Set some goals for yourself.

  4. Talk yourself up. You are beautiful, you are strong, you are loving.

  5. Get a hobby.

And Remember,

  • You are not a product of your environment!

  • You can achieve your goals if you believe in yourself!

  • Perseverance is key to building your confidence!

  • Being self-confident means accepting the person you are first.

One of the best ways to boost your self-confidence is to make a list that outlines the answers to questions you should ask yourself like:

  • What do I stand for?

  • What do like/dislike?

  • What are my goals?

  • What will I accept?

  • What won’t I expect?

  • How do I want to live my life?

Once you make it clear what you want, you’ll make decisions that align with that. Since you know what you stand for, you won’t let the opinions of others, either positive or negative, impact your choices.

Know your strengths!

Try keeping a journal and make a list of two things daily that you like or appreciate about yourself, and that you are grateful for. You are special!

If you want to make time for your dreams, and achieve them, you have to break free from that mold that is holding you back. Here are some tips to help you achieve your self-confidence on a daily basis:

Think and Act positive.

Be kind and generous.

Know your principles and live them.

Set a small goal and achieve it.

Change a small habit.

Smile you don’t own all the problems in the world.

Be grateful.

Exercise daily.

Gain knowledge.

Do something you’ve always wanted to do.

If you believe that you can do anything, you will! Trust in yourself and your self-confidence will go through the roof!
