Southern Pulled Pork BBQ in the Crock Pot Style


Ingredients:


· 3/4 cup ketchup

· 1 1/2 cups chopped onion

· 1 cup water

· 4 cloves garlic, minced

· 1/4 cup honey

· 1/4 cup light brown sugar

· 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

· 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

· 1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce

· salt and ground black pepper to taste

· 1 (3 pound) pork shoulder roast


Directions:

  1. Mix the ketchup, onion, water, garlic, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, Tobasco sauce, salt, and black pepper together in a slow cooker until thoroughly combined.

  2. Place the pork roast into the mixture, spoon sauce over the meat, and set the slow cooker to Low.

  3. Cook 6 to 7 hours.

  4. To serve, shred the meat with 2 forks, and serve with the sauce.
