3 Cups non-bleached white flour
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 1/4 Cups Whole Milk
1/4 Cup Vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon pure Vanilla extract
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix all the dry ingredients together first in a large bowl.
In a second bowl, combine all the wet ingredients together until smooth.
Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients bowl.
Mix together just enough to combine. DO NOT OVERMIX! Batter will be very thick and lumps are o.k.!
Heat a stove top round skillet, oblong skillet or electric skillet (whichever your preference) to medium-high heat.
Pour one cup size batter into your skillet to however many pancakes you can fit.
Once the batter starts to bubble, flip over and cook the other side. Approx. 1 minute per side or until cooked through.
Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
*note* you can also add blueberries, strawberries, chocolate chips or other favorites right in with your batter! Fabulous!
