Just Do You and Be Thankful!

It’s Thanksgiving week! That wonderful time of the year where we can all be thankful for the past year and great things that have happened in our lives.

Just be thankful for being yourself and the people who are blessed to be in your life.

What does Thanksgiving mean to me? It means I have more to be thankful for this year than I did last year. Thankful for staying on track on my health happiness journey. Thankful for my husband and family who have also joined me on the journey this past year.

It’s definitely not easy to stay on track 24/7, 7 days a week. There are many challenges to face every day. Not just eating and exercising, but events that happen throughout the day. Some you have control over and some you do not.

But being thankful for any progress you make, any little step you take in the right direction is a “win-win” as far as I am concerned! We need to be thankful and celebrate any tiny victories we make. We also need to be thankful that for each mistake we may have made over this past year, that we can learn from it, move on, and not repeat it. We have better knowledge now than we did last year.

I am thankful for learning new things to keep me focused on my journey. I am thankful for learning new ways to get through the tough days, and new ways to celebrate the successful days!

It’s almost a new year ahead – What do you have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season?

Just Do you and be thankful!
