Stove Top Fudge


  • 1 ¼ Cups White Sugar

  • 2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk

  • 1 T butter

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 1 (6 oz.) bag of milk chocolate chips

  • 16 Large marshmallows or ½ bag of 10 oz. mini marshmallows

  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans if you like)


  1. Combine the sugar, milk, butter and salt in a medium-sized saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. Add in the chocolate chips and cook stirring until they are all melted.

  4. Remove from the heat and stir in the marshmallows, vanilla and nuts.

  5. Mix well.

  6. Pour into an 8-inch pan.

  7. Cool completely.

  8. Cut into squares and keep covered in the refrigerator.

*note* I doubled this recipe for a huge batch! Place in a 9x11 inch non-stick pan!
