Stove Top Fudge
1 ¼ Cups White Sugar
2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 T butter
¼ tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) bag of milk chocolate chips
16 Large marshmallows or ½ bag of 10 oz. mini marshmallows
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans if you like)
Combine the sugar, milk, butter and salt in a medium-sized saucepan.
Bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add in the chocolate chips and cook stirring until they are all melted.
Remove from the heat and stir in the marshmallows, vanilla and nuts.
Pour into an 8-inch pan.
Cut into squares and keep covered in the refrigerator.
*note* I doubled this recipe for a huge batch! Place in a 9x11 inch non-stick pan!
